Location: Mountain View, CA Duration: 6 Months Rate: $55-60/hr PLEASE SUBMIT LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Skills set Required: Strong understanding of Data Warehouse methodology and dimensional models Atleast 5 years of experience working on Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects 3+ years of experience in designing and developing ETL mappings using Informatica. Exposure to v8 preferred 3+ years of experience in designing and developing Business Objects universe and reports Strong communication skills Hands on experience using Business Objects Xcelsius dashboard and Live Office connectors(Hard to find in the market..) Experience in developing job schedules using Appworx is a plus Job duties: Analyze business requirements, perform source system analysis and participate in logical & physical dimensional data model Prepare technical design document and source to target data mapping document Develop ETL process using Informatica Develop Business Objects Universe, reports Develop dashboards using Xcelsius and Live Office connectors Participate in code reviews Perform unit testing and document the results Prepare code migration document and work with release team in migrating the code to QA & other environments Work closely with QA team during the testing phase and fix bugs if any Coordinate development activities with offshore team Troubleshoot and resolve database, ETL and BO related performance issues Work with cross functional team on a need basis PLEASE NOTE- UPDATE: Crystal Xcelsius - update...this is not critical, nice to have....
