Description: As a DataStage / QualityStage Developer you will be part of a team that is responsible for the development and implementation of code in the client's Data Warehouse. Requirements: . 3+ years of experience doing ETL development in a Data Warehouse environment. . 3+ years experience in IBM DataStage. . 1+ years of experience in IBM QualityStage. . Knowledge of SQL is essential. . Experience with SQL Server stored procedures is desired. . A BA/BS degree in a technical field or related discipline is required. . Familiarity with various SDLC models and development methodologies. . Ability to creatively solve challenging business/technology problems. . Ability to learn quickly, master our existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement. . Proven ability to work cross functionally to drive the implementation of new features as well as resolve operational issues. . Must be a self-starter, who is accustomed to working with aggressive project timelines and who has a strong history of delivering high quality technical solutions to data-based business problems. Responsibilities: . Create design documentation based on business requirements and functional specifications. . Develop solutions in DataStage and QualityStage as directed by management. . Work with other ETL and BI developers to create new ETL jobs that adhere to standards and best practices. . Provide design and code reviews as necessary. . Effectively estimate work and deliver high quality results on schedule. . Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
