*REQUIRED SKILLS:* ** *BS / MS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent with minimum 7 years of application development experience. *Strong hands-on development expertise in an integration platform with exposure Business Process Modeling, Service Bus, Data Services, Service Repository/Governance. *Preferably should have experience working with BEA Aqualogic Platform. Min 1 year experience required. *Hands-on development expertise in J2EE & Enterprise Technologies: JMS, JDBC, Web development, Transactions, WS-*, JVM, JSP, Servlets, EJB, JNDI, JMX, JTA. Minimum 5 years experience required. *Experience with XML technology: XSLT, XPATH, DOM, SAX, JAXP, schema, Namespaces and XML parsers and tools. *Good understanding and practical use of software design patterns and best practices. *Good understanding of Enterprise and Federated Security technologies * Single Sign On using standards, Web App Security, Data Security. *Ideally should have PeopleSoft integration experience *Must have done a medium to large scale implementation of Enterprise Service Bus preferably using Aqualogic Platform. *Knowledge and experience with RDBMSs (Oracle or MS SQL Server). *Follow and create development processes needed for the role. SOA CONSULTANT Reporting to Application Development manager, carry the role of a technical lead working closely with Project Managers, Business Analyst and other IT groups; providing technical leadership for execution of Enterprise Service Bus projects. Lead & train other developers(onsite and offshore) in a project to architect, design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability providing realistic implementation schedules while adhering to company*s architectural standards and principles. Drive technical designs to consensus and approval by Architecture Review Team. Design and develop enterprise solutions for specific business need that provide frameworks, interfaces and services that can be extended and reused for future requirements. Understand and contribute to SOA and Enterprise IT strategies. Work on several initiatives concurrently.
