Specific Job Description:
The applicant must analyze business and technical processes to formulate and
develop new and modified business information processing systems. The candidate
will be responsible for the requirements, use cases, design and testing
traceability matrices, system design documents, test plans, test cases,
operations and maintains procedures, and system performance analysis of
client/server web based application architectures. The web based application
architectures include web applications, web services, XSLT, and database
operations. Applicant must demonstrate the ability to work independently or
under only general direction. Hands on experience in testing web based
applications for functional requirements, and system performance using standard
testing tools must be demonstrated. Applicant must have excellent verbal and
written communications skills and must be able to effectively coordinate
activities between end users, developers, system architects, analysts, testers,
and project management. Candidate should be familiar with Software Engineering
methodologies such as Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development.
Typical Minimums:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or
equivalent experience/combined education, with 6 years of professional
experience; or 4 years of professional experience with a related Masters
degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
Required skills:
Requirements specifications, business process modeling, use case documentation,
user interface specification, system and application testing, user acceptance
testing, and UML.
Desired skills:
Data Modeling, XML, Object Oriented Design patterns, web services, web
application frameworks, and Aspect Oriented Programming.
