1. At least 5 years of experience in Wintel IT administration.
2. In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the Wintel
networking concepts, including LAN/WAN technologies (routing), DHCP,
DNS, WINS, AD.
3. The candidate should be skilled with current HP hardware technology
(C-Class blade systems a plus).
4. Windows Server 2000/2003 installation, configuration, and
administration, including an understanding of SAN technology and
Wintel configuration of SAN (EMC, PowerPath, partitioning, WWNs,
etc.).
5. Basic infrastructure knowledge (AD, Exchange, file servers, IP
addresses/subnets/routing, etc.)
6. Ability to install and troubleshoot third-party software.
7. Basic knowledge of IIS, SQL 2005, Oracle, SharePoint Server
Enterprise 2007, and Citrix
8. Experience with Windows PowerShell and administrative C#.NET
programming a plus.
Candidate must have a degree preferably in computer science, or
information management (or a related discipline), or equivalent
experience.
