Client: RCN Application Developer Herndon, VA 6 Months contract (MUST BE A GREEN CARD HOLDER, EAD HOLDER) $50/hr Application Developer responsibilities/description: * Working with business owners / Ecommerce team to code new functionality into eCommerce platform (Java/XML/HTML programming) * Documentation of code additions/changes * Working with SVN code repositories to control source / destination of code * Analyzing documented bugs from testing team and providing bug fixes * Deployment of approved code into production * Troubleshooting production issues (Application based as well as web service based(Apache Tomcat)) * Log Analyzing regarding bugs * Provide feedback on direction/coding practices (everyone has a voice) * Must-have skills for Developer: Java expert, XML/API experience, HTML/JavaScript/CSS experience, Experience in application development lifecycle (from Analysis to deployment/support), great communicator/self starter RCN Data Modeler Herndon, VA 6 Months contract (MUST BE A GREEN CARD HOLDER, EAD HOLDER) $50/hr Data Modeler responsibilities/description: * 80-90% dedicated to data modeling * Expert in data-oriented structures * Able to identify data relationships and reduce data redundancy * Internal knowledge (provided) of business service codes / pricing structures * Development of new product/data models * Deployment of new data models into production environment * Data structuring / Naming convention standardization * Works with development team to ensure consistency between application and data layers * Experience with Cast Iron solutions (a major plus but not necessary) * Creation / Configuration of products / packages through the Sterling MCS application utilizing various data modeling methodology's (a major plus but not necessary) We Appreciate your business, Sam S Dut JInfo Systems Inc.
