Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 4-6+ Months Description: Prefer candidates that are local to IL. F2F may be required. Seeking a senior Web Focus Developer to aid in the support of the Basel application. Responsibilities would include: - Support and maintain current WebFOCUS reporting environment - Create new WebFOCUS Reports and enhance existing reports - Document report request in the form of Functional and Technical specifications - Perform UNIT testing to insure completeness and quality of reports - Assist testing team in the development of test cases based on the report requirements - Perform other duties as assigned Summary: Responsible for developing persuasive and convincing communications that sway major decision-makers. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzes trends in technology and client requirements to develop standard solutions that fit well into AIS architecture and addresses multiple clients needs. Conveys and responds to dissenting viewpoints. Proactively keeps abreast of industry and/or professional trends. Plans and tracks multiple large and/or complex projects and communicates status to management and project teams. Demonstrates a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant development methodologies. Functions as an architect of a chosen development methodology. Plays a lead role in evaluating and selecting development methodologies for the product or divisional unit as a whole. Brings about successful resolution to high impact and/or complex and/or chronic and/or cross-functional problems. Supports investment in processes to retain critical knowledge and facilitate knowledge transfer. Provides direction and training for others in the department.
