I'm currently in need of 1 Sr. Software Engineer/UI Designer. This is 12+Month
contract..most likely an 18 Month Contract. The keys to this position are .NET
Framework 3.5, and Silverlight Experience. I'd prefer to submit candidates that
are local to Southern California, but I'd be open to other areas if the
candidates have .NET 3.5 AND Silverlight, as well as great Communication skills.
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: 12-18Months

Job Description:
The person in this position will play a key role in designing and implementing
the user interface of our primary product. This includes:
· Understanding the overall user interface (UI) requirements and the
various options for creating a quality user experience (UX)
· Help define the user experience vision for our products
· Develop UX and UI standards to be applied to the design of each
feature
· Developing an approach for prototyping and implementing the UI for
each feature in accordance with UX and UI standards
· Work with internal and external clients to develop meaningful
interactive experiences
· Researching and implementing the tools and processes to be used in
defining UI elements
· Wireframe and story board creation, and development for WPF and
Silverlight based applications
· Produce detailed interaction design specifications for the product
development team
Minimum Requirements:
· 5 years of design experience, with at least 3 years experience
designing and implementing highly interactive and marketable UXs and UIs in
business-oriented applications
· Experience and proficiency with WPF, .Net 3.0/3.5 Microsoft
Expressions Blend, Expressions Design, Silverlight, and XAML
· Working knowledge of .NET Framework 3.5 and Silverlight 2.0
· Proficiency with software such as Photoshop and Visio
· Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology,
particularly as applied to web-based applications
· Considerable experience designing user interface for enterprise
applications
· Working knowledge of commercial lending concepts is a plus
· Highly organized, strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and
written communication skills
· Ability to identify and solve complex problems in creative ways
· Ability to work both independently and within a team construct
