Location: Downtown San Francisco, CA Duration: 6+ Months Rate: $52/Hr Best Face to Face may be required. Candidates local to CA required. Description: Experience Level: 7-10 years technical background and 5-6 years directly related web engineering experience. Typically acts as a project/team lead We are looking for a true Engineer type not an administrator. This person works with various business and technical groups to provide technical strategy and expert troubleshooting/configuration expertise. Weblogic Engineering experience is key (i.e. set up of Weblogic from scratch, integration of Weblogic, etc.) Skills ranked in order: 1) Weblogic 2) Sun One Webservers 3) Solaris 8/10 and RHEL4 4) Big IP F5 Load Balancer (will consider other similar products) 5) HP Open View (HP OVO) Production support web support engineer providing 7X24 expert technical support and consultation for Weblogic, MQ Series Messaging, and Sun One Webservers running on Solaris 8, Solaris 10 and RHEL 4 operating systems. Position also requires significant experience with Big IP F5 Load Balancer administration, shell scripting for alerting and alarming on applications. Significant experience using HP OVO is also preferred. Position conducts and coordinates the analysis, planning and implementation of systems software and/or hardware. Analyzes, designs, codes, tests, debugs, maintains, modifies and documents operating systems. Defines systems hardware and/or hardware requirements and determines systems specifications and/or customizations. Coordinates the design of subsystems and integration of total systems. Identifies and resolves highly complex problems. Provides direction and/or guidance to less experienced staff.
