Position: Lead SQL Server DBA Location: Eden Prairie, MN Duration: 3-4 months. Rate $50-52/hr Max Please read through the description and let me know who you have. Some of the skills listed below are somewhat niche.....these are NOT generic SQL DBA roles. Duties/Responsibilities · Lead SQL Server software installation, maintenance and conversions: SQL 2008 · Perform database security configuration and administration · Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies · Perform logical database design and physical database implementations · Create, test, and conduct performance tuning on SQL Server databases · Create, test, and conduct migration scripting and implementation of SQL Server instances · Develop SQL processes for data loading, migration and application interfaces · Create deployment scripts, including rollback scripts, for all SQL Server changes · Develop and enforce organizational SQL standards and best practices · Work with the database engineering team on aspects of database design including tables, views, stored procedures, permissions, etc · Adherence to SDLC standards and vision. · Other duties may be assigned.
