Consult with clients and other project team members to construct large relational databases for data warehousing b.. Responsible for data acquisition, automation, access, security, analysis/design, and presenting solutions c.. Develop ETL jobs using Information Server 8.0 (Datastage and Quality Stage) to perform the extraction, load, and transformation of data from various source systems d.. Identify data sources and create ETL data flow diagrams and data mappings e.. Support legacy PLSQL jobs and assist in transition to ETL data feeds f.. Follow corporate change management and configuration management standards g.. Maintain system documentation h.. Document test plans and record test results i.. Participate in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software j.. Support, test, debug, and/or install software applications k.. Support nightly ETL batch processes Experience/Skills: a.. 3+ years business experience and Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science and/or equivalent combination in education and work experience b.. Must have data warehousing and enterprise data integration experience with 2+ years of developing a large scale data warehouse c.. Must have experience with Datastage/Qualitystage 7.5 and/or Information Server 8.x or equivalent ETL application d.. Knowledge of a variety of data architect concepts e.. Knowledge of business intelligence concepts and Cognos 8 Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio, Analysis Studio a plus f..
