Description
Company is currently looking for a Business Analyst to work with our Client in
Puerto Rico to help with an OMS migration for a 6 month contract.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Business Analyst role for the Wireline OMS Migration project must be
capable of performing the following tasks;
(1) Organize and leading requirement gathering, process definition, and user
system interaction sessions with the functional business teams of PRT.
(2) Clearly communicate (in written form) the necessary information for this
business analysis information to be communicated to a technical team
responsible for delivering the necessary functionality via the new to be
implemented Amdocs Order Management system.
(3) Review and assess the implications and/or gaps that might surface as it
relates to technical system capabilities (as documented in the solution
designs), business process change implications, and assist in the impact
analysis of all potential manual work-arounds that may be required.
(4) Clearly identify, capture and document all reporting requirements required
by the functional team that the BA is assigned to and ensure that the project
successfully meets the final delivery of similar or improved information upon
the completion of the project.
(5) Support the overall migration project by providing information to both the
user community and the project team that will promote and facilitate an easier
transition to the delivered solution.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
{ A minimum of 5 years experience in the OMS arena with mandatory experience in
the telecommunications environment is required.
{ Proven track record in delivering detailed requirement definitions for the
functional areas of a Telco including Service Order Capture, Workflow
Management, Order Management, Activation/Provisioning, Order Fulfillment and
Reporting are required.
{ Analyst should have a detailed background in the functionality currently
available via the Amdocs Order Management solution.
{ Previous experience in dealing with Amdocs migration project/team/vendor is
preferred.
{ Outstanding communication skills are mandatory with the ability to assist and
run JAR/JAD sessions with functional teams, document findings, perform Gap
analysis and communicate the same to the IT technical team developing the
solution.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
{ B.S. Degree in Computer Science, IT or technical discipline
{ Excellent communication skills V written, verbal, and presentation
{ Ability to work well in a team environment or individually to pressing
timelines.
