Description:
The Senior Oracle Developer is responsible for enhancements to, and day-to-day
maintenance and support of, clients ERP and BLS systems; responsible for
end-user support; analysis, development and deployment of new functionality;
performance tuning; proactive support of ERP/BLS. This person may be
responsible for mentoring junior developers.
The skills, experience, and knowledge required to be considered for this
position include:
* Minimum of 7-10 years of Oracle Developer 6i experience (Oracle
Forms/Reports)
* Strong PL/SQL coding and tuning skills
* Proficiency writing LINUX/UNIX shell scripts
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Multi-tasking abilities
Desired Skills:
* Exposure to Oracle development toolset (e.g. Designer, Discoverer)
* Oracle database object and schema design
* Past exposure to Web-based application deployment
* Oracle Forms and Reports Developer with experience in version 6i, 10g and
Application Express
