Position: Websphere Administrator Location: Schaumburg, IL Duration: 3-6+ Months In-Person interview is required after telephonic!! MUST BE LOCAL TO IL ONLY!! NEED 3 PROFESSIONAL REFERENCES!! THESE MUST BE OF SUPERVISORS ONLY (NO TEAM MEMBERS)!! Description: Company has an immediate need for a Websphere Administrator with one of our Fortune 100 clients in the Schaumburg, IL area. This is a 3-6 months contract gig with an immediate start. Candidate must have excellent communication skills and references from current/previous supervisors (No exceptions!) High preference for local resources. Required Skills: Looking for an Experienced WebSphere Application Server 5.x and 6.x and WebSphere Portal environments primarily on AIX hardware and including Solaris, RedHat, and MS Windows. Expert knowledge of WebSphere Application Server 5.x/6.x, performance tuning, load balancing, stability and recovery, and troubleshooting of WebSphere Applications. 5 year experience in the following areas: Knowledge of WebSphere Portal Server 5.x/6.x, and various UNIX/Linux operating systems.
