Location: Menlo Park, CA
Duration: 6+ months
SAS-2 expander firmware development
Most candidates will be responsible for evaluation, development and integration
of SAS-2 expanders with a focus on interface and firmware.
Responsible for all aspects of development and integration of these products
into systems.
Should be familiar with ANSI specifications for SAS and SATA interfaces.
Hands on knowledge in using SAS and SATA analyzers to debug and resolve issues.
ThreadX or similar RTOS firmware development experience. ARM embedded processor
development.
Maintaining and developing test scripts, utilities and tools to validate
expander functions and features to identify and resolve integration issues.
Should have the skill set to develop special scripts to test drives/expanders
for fault and error insertion.
Work with system engineers and SAS suppliers in helping them solve issues
relating to disk drive interface and technology features.
knowledge of SAS and SATA protocols, Raid, clusters and multiple Operating
system -- Linux, Windows. Solaris is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot system
level problems down to hardware, firmware or software modules
UNIX, Sun/Solaris, Protocols, Engineer, Diagnostic Engineer, Device Drivers,
Applications Programmer
