Primary skill set Flex, Flash, Web Front End Development
Manager prefers GC or US Citizen (send who you have)
a.. 3 or more years hands-on ActionScript experience.
b.. 2 or more years hands-on Flex development experience.
c.. 2 or more years developing consumer-facing Web applications.
Responsibilities
Own the development of one or more Web client-side components, from
specification through design, coding, debugging, and deployment.
Work closely with the operations teams of mobile operators and hosting
providers such that they understand how to install, configure and operate
Adobe's Web applications.
Work with members of the Project Management, Design and Development teams to
build a coordinated feature set.
Work closely with QE engineers to ensure quality throughout the development
cycle.
Develop and implement creative solutions to integrate our technology into
mobile operator service infrastructures.
Share expertise and advise others in the application of Web.
Write high quality, high performance Actionscript 3.0 and mxml code.
Write complete Unit Tests for developed code.
Participate in scoping and sizing of requirements using Agile development
methods.
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years commercial software development experience.
BS in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
Deep familiarity with Web application technologies (e.g. XML, XSLT, XHMTL,
JavaScript, SOAP).
3 or more years hands-on ActionScript experience.
2 or more years hands-on Flex development experience.
2 or more years developing consumer-facing Web applications.
Expertise building Flash-based presentations of large-scale applications.
Familiarity debugging very large, server-based solutions.
Ability to thrive working in a team environment and directly with customers.
Motivated self-starter who likes working on very productive, fast-paced teams
and assionate desire to build great products.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ideal
3 or more years experience working with mobile operators, integrating
enterprise servers into their billing, customer care, provisioning, or network
operations infrastructure.
Experience with IBM Websphere .
Experience developing applications which interact with 10g databases.
