VM Ware Engineer

Pay: $45- 47/hr

Job Responsibilities:
* Administer VMware 3.x environment, with knowledge of DRS, HA, and VCB
* Build and maintain Windows 2003/2008 servers, including IIS, SQL, and File
Server hosts
* Work with EMC SAN technologies, including Brocade and McData Fiber Switches
* Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Directory Services Infrastructure.
Skills required include installing, configuring, and
troubleshooting Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy
* Provide preventive maintenance and emergency on call support on a 24x7 basis
* Work on miscellaneous projects and service requests as needed
Technical Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of,
and real world experience installing, configuring, supporting and
maintaining the following technologies:
* Windows Server 2003
* VMware ESX Server 3.X and Virtual Center 2.X
* IIS Configuration and Support
* Understanding of DNS, IAS, DFS, DHCP and WINS
* Active Directory Domain Controllers and Site Layout
* Active Directory Group Policy
* Dell and HP Server Hardware
(Configuration, RAID Failure/Recovery, Disaster Recovery)
* EMC Clariion SAN Storage Solutions
* Understanding of LAN/WAN Technologies
Experience in any of the following areas would be a plus:
- Microsoft Clustering
- Citrix Metaframe Server
- Juniper SSL VPN
- NTP Quota Management Software
- VMWare SRM
- EMC Mirrorview
