Firmware Engineer/Unit Test (Mid Level)
Maximum Bill Rate: 40 - 45/hr C2C
Duration: 9 Months
Location: Round Rock, Texas
Number of Positions: 2
Firmware Development Engineer responsible for Review, Integration, Unit Test
and Debug of Enterprise Server Firmware.
Understanding of industry specifications, embedded systems development, Intel
and AMD architectures, and the software development lifecycle.
Solid understanding of one or more of the following industry specifications:
I2C, IPMI, KCS, USB, SNMP, SM-CLP, WS-MAN, TCPIP.
Solid understanding and demonstrated experience of the software development and
test process. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Solid C development skills including:
a.. Use of debuging tools.
b.. Experience with embedded operating systems (RTOS, embedded Linux).
c.. Experience with PowerPC or other embedded processors
d.. Debugging Experience
e.. Testing Embedded Firmware desired.
