Position: Sr. BI/Data Architect
Duration - 6 months - $55-60 per hour CTC
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Job details:
This is a Strategic role. The candidate will be working on laying down the
Business Intelligence Strategy and Roadmap. The candidate will also be
responsible for all the Solution Architecture artifacts of major BI
initiatives. The candidate will report directly to the Director - Enterprise
Architecture and a dotted line report to Delivery Managers. Responsibility
working with Senior-level personnel/business contacts. The candidate will be
responsible for 100+ resources on the architect team, responsible for solution
implementation. In addition he/she will be working with the infrastructure
group for capacity planning, working with the development group for performance
planning and testing, evaluating upgrades to software, aligning requests for
changes with the Roadmap, etc. Candidates must have a background in solution
architecture. Prefer candidates who have worked on BI projects for large
financial institutions.
Years of experience: 10+
BI tools: DB2, Informatica, Business Objects on AIX
Interview process: 2 -3 levels of interviews. Telephonic is fine for the
first couple of levels, but for the final one, it would be a face-to-face
interview. Client will consider out-of-state candidates as long as interviews
and start dates are not delayed due to logistics.
