Job Description: Provides full life-cycle product management for web sites and applications supporting both end-users and support personnel for Time Warner Cable Business Services. Includes concept, design, development, deployment, maintenance, and testing of products. Provides product training & support to internal personnel as needed. One to three years' web-based product experience with emphasis on design and development of websites and/or web based applications. Understanding of the application development life cycle including experience with requirements definition, design standards, and development & QA testing methodologies. Experience managing vendors and working in a team environment. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills. Self-motivated, analytical problem solver who is able to work with minimal supervision. Experience with JavaScript, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, FLASH, Adobe Acrobat, MS Sharepoint, Visual Basic and ASP a plus. a.. Provides full life-cycle product management for web sites and applications supporting both external & internal users including testing and release management. b.. Designs, develops, deploys, and maintains web sites/applications and content. c.. Acts as liaison with Divisions to deploy and maintain web products, including training where needed. d.. Works with Divisions, vendors/partners and other internal resources to achieve common goals. e.. Ensures that appropriate enhancements are made to web sites and applications with regard to new products/services, technologies, systems, processes, etc. f.. Manage feedback and responses via web forms and e-mail addresses. g.. Collects and analyzes site metrics to consistently improve the user experience and site stickiness. h.. Able to troubleshoot and independently research and resolve problems i.. Supports promotions and promotional campaigns designed to increase usage of web sites and applications. j.. Maintains a strong technical understanding of the latest technologies and applications available in our industry and those in use by our competition. Required Skills: a.. 1-3 years experience executing online marketing strategies, technologies, principles, and processes. b.. 1-3 years experience managing the design and creation of web sites, including site mapping, navigation schemes, and information architecture. Strong web layout, graphic design and user interface design skills. c.. Experience managing various web agencies and interactive firms to achieve tangible and measurable business results d.. Some experience with usability analysis and testing. Understanding of the application development life cycle. e.. Must have strong knowledge of HTML and experience with standard web production tools. Experience preferred with ASP, .NET, JavaScript, Photoshop/Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash, FTP, HitBox/analytics, Content/Document Management Systems and databases. Pluses include experience with Visual Basic, XML, cascading style sheets, search/index taxonomy, SEO and experience in broadband ISP, telecom, or related high-tech industry a plus. f..
