Position: Systems Analyst needed with Solaris System Administrator (UNIX)
Location: King of Prussia, PA
Rate: $40/hr on 1099 and $35/h rW2
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Below is a requirement for a Systems Analyst, location King of Prussia.
Initial duration 3 months with extensions. Prior pharma experience is a must,
GSK a very nice to have. Please do not submit anyone who is not your W2
employee
Required Skills below:
* At least 5 years experience as a Solaris System Administrator (Unix) in
production
* Startup, Shutdown, Configure Unix systems (hardware, software) including
solaris zones
* Interface with other Systems Administrators (Application Admins, DBA, Network
Admin, Storage Admin, Other OS Admin)
* Perform technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
* Demonstrate knowledge of process - incident management, problem management,
root cause analysis, change management
* Validate, test, monitor, and tune performance of Unix systems
* Install and Build new Unix servers
* Install patches, updates
* Perform all standard Unix administrator functions
* Participate in sessions to validate and perform detailed tasks
* Perform after-hours/weekend hours work and swing shifts during migrations
* Perform Unix to Unix migrations
* Will be responsible for developing, testing and documenting patching and
other technical procedures for Sun UNIX servers
* Will be required to provide 3rd level expert support to server support team
* Will create and review detailed technical documentation in accordance with
developed standards
* Experience working on complex project teams is helpful
* Must be highly organized and have above average written communication skills
