Administer a Microsoft Windows Active Directory hosting both Exchange 2003 and 
Exchange 2007 services in a 50,000+ user environment. The Consultant will be 
responsible for monitoring Replication, Sites, Trusts, and Distributed File 
System in the domain. The Consultant will also represent the Active Directory 
team in enterprise projects with new customers. In addition: 
1) The Consultant will facilitate and ensure the successful transfer of 
knowledge from the Consultant to staff. 
2) The Consultant will report to Management who will be responsible for 
maintaining control over the Consultant's work duties, schedule, and 
performance. 
3) Consultant will submit required reports, as defined by client. Consultant 
reporting may, at the discretion of Client, include Time Distribution Reports 
(TDR), Weekly Consultant Time and Status Report. 
4) The Consultant will be responsible for daily backups of any data and/or 
software developed as a result of their tasks. 
5) Consultant will attend periodic (i.e. weekly) status meetings. 

 

Technical Requirements/Mandatory: 
1. Minimum two years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 
Active Directory in a large scale environment, preferably in an environment of 
greater than 10,000 users and 10,000 member computers 
2. Minimum two years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 
Active Directory resource forest for Exchange 2003 for 10,000 users. 
3. Minimum two years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 
Active Directory Domain Controllers, name resolution, scheduled replication, 
Global Catalog, schema, trusts, and related technologies 
4. Minimum two years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 
Active Directory delegated permissions via OUs, object types and GPO with 
proper use of Distribution, Local, Global and Universal groups 
5. Minimum two years Enterprise experience and knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, 
subnets, network routing, IP address assignment, network security, IPSec, and 
all Active Directory services related network ports and protocols 
6. Minimum one year Enterprise server administration experience within Data 
Center N-Tier network designs and server communication thru firewalls. 
7. Minimum two years Enterprise system programming experience including system 
administration automation and scripting of scheduled tasks, auditing, 
monitoring, and logon/logoff 
8. Minimum of associate degree in business, MIS, or computer science. 

Desirable Experience 
1. Five years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 Active 
Directory in a large scale environment, preferably in an environment of greater 
than 10,000 users and 10,000 member computers 
2. Three years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 
Active Directory resource forest for Exchange 2003 for 10,000 users. 
3. One year Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 Active 
Directory resource forest for Exchange 2007 for 50,000+ users. 
4. Five years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 Active 
Directory Domain Controllers, name resolution, scheduled replication, Global 
Catalog, schema, trusts, and related technologies 
5. Five years Enterprise experience administering Microsoft Windows 2003 Active 
Directory delegated permissions via OUs, object types and GPO with proper use 
of Distribution, Local, Global and Universal groups 
6. Five years Enterprise experience and knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, subnets, 
network routing, IP address assignment, network security, IPSec, and all Active 
Directory services related network ports and protocols 
7. Two years Enterprise server administration experience within Data Center 
N-Tier network designs and server communication thru firewalls. 
8. Enterprise experience integrating authentication and authorization of 
external environments such as Linux and Unix hosts with Microsoft Windows 2003 
Active Directory using LDAPS, Kerberos, and/or Samba 
9. Enterprise experience with Microsoft / gj-hh
