Position: Storage & System Administrator
Location - King of Prussia, PA - (Locals preferred)
Duration - 3 months with possible extensions - not to exceed 18 months
Rate - W2 -$35/hr 1099 - $40/hr - if you have a spectacular candidate
Required - Pharma experience, GSK is nice to have, excellent communication
skills
MUST HAVE all of the below Skill sets and experience:
· Experience with large complex data center projects, or migration
projects a huge plus.
· At least 5 years experience as a production Storage Administrator
including site to site replication
· Provision and Configure storage hardware and software (DMX, NAS
(NetAPP) and EVA systems)
· Knowledge of SRDF/A, Open Migrator and NetApp SNAP mirror
· Interface with other Systems Administrators (Application Admins, DBAs,
Network Admin, Storage Admin, OS Admin)
· Perform technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
· Demonstrate knowledge of process - incident management, problem
management, root cause analysis, Change Management
· Validate, test, monitor, and tune performance of storage hardware and
software
· Install patches, updates of storage microcode, firmware, hardware and
software
· Perform all standard Storage Administrator functions
· Participate in sessions to validate and perform detailed tasks
· Perform after-hours/weekend hours work and swing shifts during
migrations
· Perform data replication and migrations using various replication tools
