Overview : Our IT Development team is seeking a Senior Java Developer to
design, develop, and implement middle tier Java applications to support
business requirements, follow approved life cycle methodologies, create design
documents, perform program coding and testing, resolve technical issues through
debugging, research, and investigation, The ideal candidate should be familiar
with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Software
Engineering field and rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals.
Responsibilities
* Work with other interdisciplinary teams in implementing Java solutions
across TracFone's Middle Tier Infrastructure.
* Lead Java design and development efforts to implement solutions based
on business requirements.
* Work with the Senior Manager of Middle Tier Solutions towards lowering
Software Maintenance costs.
* Review designs and identify reusability, performance problems and best
practices for J2EE and Java.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related area of
study.
* 4-5 years of middle tier Java development and design skills for large
IT systems.
* Telecom experience is a plus.
* Must have extensive experience with Spring, J2EE, Weblogic, XML, J2SE,
Design patterns and algorithms.
* Must have some experience with JBOSS, Apache, Unix, and Eclipse.
* Understanding of different technologies and methodologies including
SOA, SDLCs, ESB, BPEL.
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework, knowledge of J2EE.
