Position: Cool Gen Developer with Mainframe
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration: 3 - 6 months
Rate: $37- 40/hr Max

Short Description:
*Several years of Cool: GEN development skills required. CICS and DB2
experience preferred. Experience in java based web interface to Cool:GEN
application preferred.
Complete Description:
Works on Mainframe environment needs. Reviews business requirements, identifies
and resolves database programming issues and completes testing process once
programming is complete. Responsible for developing detailed specifications for
programs, system charts, logic/data diagram flows, data dictionary, and screen
interface specifications on simple to complex projects. Formulates and defines
systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough
understanding of business systems and industry requirements. Assists in design,
development, and execution of system test plans, implementation plans, and
post-implementation reviews. Evaluates existing AS applications and systems for
current functionality and the effect proposed changes might have on those
applications and systems. Takes direction from Technical Lead, Project Lead or
Project Manager. Responsible for providing Application Developers with detailed
program specifications. Provides framework of application subsystems, defines
technical approach, components, and processing cycle. Will be required to
participate in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) requirements. Performs
other related duties as necessary.
