Job Description:
(PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES WITH MORTGAGE LENDING
EXPERIENCE ONLY)
Roll Description
Participates in business requirements meetings on various mortgage lending IT
projects.
Participates in business requirements document walkthrough for clarity during
the high level design.
Contributes to project plan for testing timeline.
Support the design and testing process by being a liaison to IT staff for
designing, testing and implementation tasks.
Creates and plans the QA and UAT test documents and test cases for a given
project and builds test case matrices and regression tests
Participates in both the QA and UAT testing by performing and creating various
loan testing functions manually for a mortgage origination and servicing
system.
Supports the training department by assisting in the preparation of the
training documents and the training of the business users.
Required Skills
Performs tasks above with general supervision and direction.
Technical Skills that are required are the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Knowledgeable of testing tools and documentation (e.g. Mercury, Load runner) is
a plus.
2 - 3 years technical testing experience
2 - 3 years Mortgage Lending
Experience in technical testing concepts, quality assurance and user acceptance
testing and regression testing.
Leadership Qualities
Planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and run
multiple projects simultaneously
Researches alternatives to determine best solutions.
Prepares and coordinates both quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
Ability to meet project deadlines and a detail oriented aptitude is required.
Education Requirements
BS or BA preferred
