Qualifications Required: • 6 - 8+ years hands-on development of large scale financial and capital markets systems, e.g. risk management systems (credit, market), trading systems, etc. • 3+ years in database development and query performance/tuning • Experience in building UI for Java EE application that leverages Spring, JSF, and Hibernate. • In depth knowledge with Java web tier technology, especially MVC2 frameworks like JavaServer Faces. • Experience with web UI templating framework like Facelets. • Experience with RichFaces, and preferably one or two other JSF implementation libraries. • Strong programming skills in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML • Strong proficiency in open source development on a Windows and Linux platform using tools such as Eclipse, Spring, Hibernate, Subversion, Maven, JUnit, JBoss, etc. • Strong interaction skills in with business users and excellent communications (verbal and written) • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently • Ability to perform well under stress to deliver on committed timelines • Strong documentation discipline for all SDLC artifacts – business requirements, functional specifications and detailed design • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Engineering is required, or in lieu, a demonstrated equivalence in work experience; MS in Computer Science highly desirable Additional Preferred: • Strong financial knowledge in fixed income and/or credit instruments • Understanding of credit risk management • Highly proficient with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle • Exposure to agile development methodologies • Prior experience in a software product development role • Proficiency in XML • Experience in VBA programming Dinesh Valiatica Inc. 1340 South De Anza Blvd , Suite 104 San Jose , CA 95129 Phone: 408-693-3146 Fax- 408-580-8548 www.valiantica.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
