Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 6 Months Rate: $45/hr PLEASE SUBMIT ONLY LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Job Requirements 6+ years experience in system administration of scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant applications in Solaris & Linux environments Proven experience with web servers and application servers in production environment of eCommerce business Hands-on experience with Apache & Tomcat optimization & performance tuning Must have good knowledge of UNIX & Windows administration and tools Intensive experience with Linux, Solaris, VxVM & VCS, MySQL, Nagios, Cacti, and load balancers such as F5/netscaler. Good understanding of DNS, NFS, TCP/IP and other protocols. Windows & Oracle server experience is a plus. Experience with developing scripts in these areas is another big plus . Experience in VERITAS Volume Manager and Cluster Server .
