Our client located in Herndon, VA is searching for a Production Support specialist. This is 6-12 month contract position. Please see description below: Location: Herndon, VA Length:6-12 month Description: Contractor needed for Production Support, Build and Deployment in all environments, and Infrastructure coordination with the various support teams. Candidate will join the 5 person development team for the Asset Mark to Market application within Capital Markets business unit. Current development team has been handling Application support (Tier 3) related questions & issues but work on the Consolidation project has caused more work than the team can handle so we are looking to bring on a contractor who can commit to working through Dec 2009 to handle Application Support Issues. Requirements: Application Support Experience Development Experience - Java/J2EE - Spring - Hibernate - Struts - Oracle - SQL Performance Tuning - Unix/Linux (Scripting) Understanding of software development lifecycle Communication Skills (written and verbal) Ticketing Experience (Remedy a plus) Clearcase/Clearquest Please include the Phone number and email address in the email to expedite the submission process.
