Position: Sr. BI Business Analyst with 10+ yrs Exp
Location: Minneapolis, MN.
Duration: 6 + months
Rate: $50-55/hr Max
I need one for sure and maybe a second person who is Very skilled as a BI
Business Analyst with some technical ability as well. The focus is more on the
BA side though but our odds definitely improve is we can find a very good
technical BI BA who is an expert on both sides. Please read all of the below
carefully.

Description:
Some of our BI initiatives are ramping up quickly and we need at least one, if
not a couple of strong BI designers or leads to augment our existing staff.
The immediate need is to work with the functional business users to clarify
reporting needs and digest that down to some specific requirements that can be
incorporated into our DW and BI environments. The person obviously needs to
understand BI and DW technology so that the requirements are framed within the
appropriate context. Someone with a solid understanding of financial reporting
would be ideal. There are actually three different projects or initiatives
that appear to be quickly coming to the forefront in the following priority or
sequence:
a.. Financial reporting to support us setting up a new Payment Institution in
the European Union to comply with the EU Payment Services Directive.
b.. Restarting the Oracle Apps Settlement solution. This is the project that
will be making our current History DB obsolete, to be replaced with a DW and BI
reporting solution.
c.. A CEO-level executive dashboard reporting on 4-5 KPIs, which in turn will
likely drive other more detailed reporting/analysis requirements to support
that.
Please understand that we are looking for high quality resources, so do your
best at prescreening to give us your best candidates.
One more clarification. The resource for this highest priority need should
have strong Business Analyst skills more so than technical skills but still
have some technical exp or ability.
