EMC SAN-NAS Production Support
a.. 3+ years of SAN/NAS production support experience is required.
b.. a) Strong Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS)
Management skills with exposure to enterprise level environments
c.. b) In-depth knowledge of EMC hardware, including DMX/Symmetrix, Clariion,
CDL, Centera and Celerra. As well as, EMC software, such as EMC ControlCenter.
d.. c) Working knowledge of CAS technology
e.. d) VCM, Connetrix Manager and Navisphere/NaviAnalyzer configuration,
troubleshooting, and tuning skills
f.. e) Experience in EMC software, SAN Advisor, Storage Insight for
Availability technologies is a plus
g.. f) Thorough understanding of Change Management, Validation and Sarbanes
Oxley requirements
h.. g) Strong interpersonal communication & management skills
i.. h) Must be a strong team player with a commitment to excellence
j.. i) Demonstrated analysis, organization and planning skills
k.. j) Must have ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and have a
flexible positive attitude
l.. k) Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to impart
technical concepts to all levels
m.. l) Strong documentation and record keeping skills, with extreme attention
to detail
n.. m) Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and protocol (SOX, Validation
etc.) is a plus
