Eclipsys System Administrator
System Administrator - Eclipsys SCM Application
. Experience with Eclipsys SCM System Administration
. Install, support and maintain hardware, operating system(s), and
application software
. Support remote communications, and document system operations along
with maintenance and recovery procedures
. Monitor and document system utilization, and perform growth analysis
and capacity planning
. Participate in the daily activities necessary to maintain efficient
environments for DEV, TRAIN, TEST and PROD
. Perform or support upgrades, as needed
. Working knowledge of SQL Server & the Windows operating system
. SQL query writing skills
. Experience building install packages with MSIexec
. Experience with setting up Citrix in a complicated environment
. Experience with setting up Print Servers
. Experience with Objects Plus (a plus), C#, and/or VB.net programming
. Familiarity with Microsoft Reporting Services
. Working knowledge of interface concepts
. Excellent organizational skills
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Eclipsys DBA
Database Administrator- Eclipsys SCM Application
. Provide technical expertise in the design, implementation, and
maintenance of relational database management systems (RDBMS) that support
enterprise applications
. Work with the Eclipsys Database Manager and/or technical consultants on
new software requirements, monitor daily system operations, and perform system
maintenance for all areas, including:
o Database administration
o Backups
o Database consistency checks
o Error monitoring
o System security
. Develop system operations and create maintenance and recovery
procedures
. Provide additional databases to the team during the project period, as
required, and ensure that sufficient capacity is available for all Eclipsys
products
. Participate in the installation of the operating system, database, and
application software
. Maintain Development (DEV), Test (TEST), Training (TRAIN) and
Production (PROD) environments
. Monitor and maintain database security
. Monitor and manage database backups, logs, and journals; install,
maintain, and upgrade database software; restore and/or recover data, as
required
. Participate in the daily activities necessary to maintain an efficient
Production environment
