Role: Oracle Transparent Gateway Consultant (Technical) Project Location: Can Work Remotely Duration: 3 months Experience: Senior Target Pay Rate: $ALAP Description: Need Resource to configure the Oracle Transparent Gateway to communicate with a 65535 DRDA server on the IBM iSeries AS400. The gateway is used to push orders (data that is updated via web apps into Oracle) down to the DRDA servers via SQL scripts. Additionally, data is retrieved in a number of ways,but mostly by using Material Views of data that are read only tables in Oracle. Review Oracle Transparent Gateway configuration, existing Oracle National Language (NLS), settings, database character sets, the Solaris operating system environment, client applications, and its iSeries based systems.
