I need an excellent eCommerce, B2C QA asset. Requirement as follows: Role: experienced development tester to work on large, enterprise scale projects. This individual will create QA plans, write test cases, create automated test scripts, perform functional and regression testing, log bugs, and provide consistent tracking and reporting to the team. This person will be working in matrix, technical environment working closely with management, project managers, developers, and QA. The ideal candidate will have strong quality assurance and testing background, excellent communication skills (oral, written, interpersonal), be self-motivated, organized, thorough, and efficient. Must have the ability to make intelligent QA decisions and have demonstrated success in a lead testing capacity. Must have experience working on high-volume, B2C, e-commerce applications and is passionate about ensuring quality through detailed testing. . Review requirements, functional design, technical design specifications and other available information . Identify risk and communicate risk mitigation strategies, determine scope and test limitations . Determine test approaches and methods-unit, integration, functional, system, security, load, usability tests, etc. . Review test environment requirements (configuration, versions, etc.) . Validate testing software requirements (automation tools, test tracking, etc.) . Set schedule estimates, timelines, milestones . Determine test input data requirements . Develop and validate test cases . Develop and execute automated test scripts . Experience with core QA tools, including Quality Center and QTP . Prepare and validate test plan documents and reports . Evaluate and report results . Track problems/bugs and fixes. Report bugs, create and provide metrics on bugs, resolution turnaround and testing processes, including test cycle times . Create and manage internal and external release notes . Understanding of release management and packaged releases . Maintain and update test plans, test cases, test environment, and testing software through life cycle Qualifications/Experience: . 7-9 years of in depth testing and quality assurance experience . Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science. . Extensive experience writing test cases from requirements and design documents . Knowledge of industry standard Software Development Life Cycles, including Agile/Scrum processes . Ability to handle multiple projects at once while meeting aggressive production deadlines . Proactive interaction with managers, developers, project managers, and analysts . Experience with business/e-commerce applications in the online media or entertainment space a plus . Creative problem solver who is extremely well organized and accustomed to maintaining meticulous records . Demonstrates strong follow up and follow though skills ensuring timely application testing and bug reporting .
