The job descriptions and skill base are expressed below. Required Skills: - 5+ years of product implementation and administration of Cognos Planning with concentration on Cognos Planning 8.1 and 8.4 versions - Excellent knowledge of and experience using the Cognos Planning suite of products, including but not limited to, Analyst, Contributor, CAC - Knowledge and experience in platform sizing, optimization and tuning of Cognos Planning 8.x - Mid-level UNIX/AIX skills - Working knowledge and experience in Windows 2003 server administration - Knowledge and experience in implementing user level and data level securities within Cognos Planning Contributor applications - Good understanding of IIS as it relates to the Cognos Planning infrastructure - Web Infrastructure (Firewalls, WebServer and Application Servers) - Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills - Administration experience of SunONE LDAP and Cognos Access Manager - Good understanding of various database platforms, including Oracle, DB2, MS SQL, Teradata - Practical experience of basic SQL skills - Experience with Cognos scripting language Desired Skills: - Cognos BI FM model, Cognos Power cube and report authoring experience - Cognos Planning Analyst modeling, library authoring and Contributor application creation experience - Practical experience of SSO solutions using Oblix/CoreID and IBM Tivoli LDAP applied to Cognos Planning - Experience with setup, configuration and administration of Cognos BI infrastructure - Experience with setup, configuration and administration of BusinessObjects XI infrastructure Thanks & Regards, Angela Thomas Account Manager Data Group Inc.
