Position: Java build releases Engineer Location: Lawrenceville, NJ Duration: 4-5 Months Rate: $35-37/hr on W2 (Max, for a complete fit) The key is not to focus more on the Configuration Mgmt side of the role; this is more of a Release coordinator role with a technical background in Java build releases. Location: Lawrenceville, NJ Requirements: a.. Must have a thorough understanding of build and deployment processes and software development lifecycles b.. Have an in-depth understanding of source code control, build and deploy tools and configuration management systems including SVN, CVS, Serena and others c.. Very strong scripting skills in both Windows and Linux d.. Capacity to deal with multiple competing demands with a high degree of competence e.. A comprehensive understanding of Java build / deploy practice, PL/SQL , WebLogic, Oracle, Linux, Unix Scripting and Web Technology. f.. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills g.. Exhibit a constant "go-for-it" and positive attitude h.. Demonstrate competence to manage challenging release assignments and steadfast commitment to accomplish releases delivery i.. High ability to work with diversified group both vertical and horizontally j.. This position requires working off business hours and occasionally weekends to coordinate and conduct release deployments k.. A thorough understanding of Change and Release management practice l.. Proven ability to work effectively on multiple projects, simultaneously, in a fast-paced and highly challenging environment m.. Good communication, interpersonal skills n.. High Ability to work and team effectively with IT management and colleagues o..
