Location: Greater Boston, MA Duration: 4-6+ months LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED. Description: Our client is in need of a senior level Oracle resource (with RAC certification and Retek experience). Supplier will participate as a team member on the customer staff specializing in Oracle RAC implementations, administration and performance tuning. This is an on-site position during typical business hours. Supplier needs to be local / within driving distance to the customer location. Consultant Role/Responsibilities/Skills on Engagement: Need a senior level Oracle Solution Architect type resource to provide: o RAC performing tuning o Implement Oracle performance recommendations o Oracle troubleshooting o Excellent organizational skills o Excellent communications skills o Oracle/ RAC certified o Will be working as part of client's Oracle Retek team. o Expert level skills in Oracle Retek, Oracle DB on IBM and HP-UX with extensive RAC experience, application testing, performance tuning, etc. o Experience as Oracle DB architect with experience with platform design and sizing a bonus.
