CLIENT is currently seeking a *Technical Lead f*or a *contract to hire*position in *Cambridge, MA*. He or she should be proficient in markup languages like XML, XSL, XSLT, XPath, and XQuery. S/he should be a subject matter expert in Oracle Content Management Systems, Adobe LiveCycle and eMail subscription systems. Candidate should have specialized experience designing and building scalable Content Management System and use of the LiveCycle enterprise suite.
S/he will be joining a small team of professionals in a fast paced environment where they will be a key player with significant responsibilities. Successful candidate will also participate in the development of web sites in support of new studies/data collection efforts. A candidate for this position will be a self starter who values their work and those of their team members. Essential Job Functions - Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents highly complex programs. Develops complex test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs. - Designs systems and programs to meet highly complex business needs. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs are developed and coded. Creates appropriate documentation in work assignments such as program code, and technical documentation. - Gathers information from existing systems, analyzes program and time requirements. Assists project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks. - Supports project personnel in resolving fairly complex program problems. Works with client and management to resolve issues and validate programming requirements within their areas of responsibility. Provides technical advice on complex programming. - May serve as technical project lead; provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews. - Provides consulting services in a technical and/or managerial capacity to management and technical staff. May represent company in presentations or conferences involving customers, co-contractors, suppliers, competitors, academia or the public.
