Let me know if you have any one for this position ASAP. * Location: Des Moines, IA Duration: 8 months + Rate: open ** Note: The consultant must have 10+ years of Exp and one recent last govt project as a Lead Exp............................* client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in leading JAD facilitation, use case development, gap analysis, workflow, testing, full SDLC including development of BRD, FRS and TRS. This is an initial 8-month contract with a one year extension possible. In this role, Senior BA will perform the following: * Create Business Requirements documents for acceptance by management within established deadlines. * Create and use requirements traceability matrices to track progress of business requirements from development through signoff. * Identify and document use cases (scenarios) representing the users, workflows and tasks that will have to be performed as a result of the proposed enhancements. * Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for medium to large sized projects. * Facilitate systems testing and user acceptance testing for projects and service requests. * Develop and maintain accurate Test Scenarios. * Develop and execute Test Plans as required by the project team for medium to large sized projects. * Manage and maintain defect-tracking tools (i.e., Excel or COTS tool supplied to the project). * Facilitate project-testing meetings as required by the project for medium to large sized projects. * Develop Training Plans as required for medium to large sized projects. * Facilitate execution of Training Plans. * Direct the work of other less experienced Business Analysts as required. * Facilitate meetings with users and business owners to determine their needs. * Accurately prepare written business correspondence that is coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional and engaging. *Mandatory Skills: * * Be proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio. * Have the ability to function effectively in a collaborative team environment. * Have large project experience as a lead BA * Past experience mentoring other BA's * Able to instill confidence from customers * Have the ability to work and communicate with internal and external customers in a polite, courteous, and cooperative manner. * Understand basic Internet and client/server architectures. *NICE to HAVE:* Imaging and workflow experience * BPM and BPMS (suite) experience * Mainframe environment experience * Web Application project experience -- vb.net, MS SQL 2005 preferably * State Government experience *ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:* * Graduation from an accredited college or university and experience equal to 8-10 years of full-time work in a business analyst role. * Possess working knowledge of SQL and database design. * Have experience in and knowledge of formalized project management methods and techniques such as PMI, CMMI, etc. -- Thanks and Regards, SATYA CAPS innovative Solutions Inc Phone:408/212/0891 408-329-4051 Mailto: [email protected] Website: http://capsinnovative.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "IT provider" group.
