Let me know if you have nay one for this position ASAP. * POWERBUILDER DEVELOPER.* *Location: SACRAMENTO, CA Duration:9 months Rate: D.O.E* * Responsibilities:* The selected candidate will work with internal development staff to complete new software application development projects within the Software Development Life Cycle. Maintain and support the application environment Define and document business requirements for existing applications as assigned; Develop and test new modules for existing applications as assigned; Develop and execute comprehensive test plans; Participate in code walkthroughs to ensure the program meets the business requirements and follow the coding standards; Participation in team meetings led by SOS staff; Document code both internally and externally; Maintain change control; Perform complete regression testing: Analyze and resolve functional and operational problems identified by the end users * Technical Requirements:* Candidates must have at least 6 years experience as an application developer specializing in PowerBuilder. Experience designing relational database and stored procedures for Oracle 9i and/or 11g. Ability to work independently with little or no supervision; Good oral and written communications skills Strong analytical skills; Superior troubleshooting skills on server and application layers. Desired Skills/Experience: Familiarity with Notary Public commission, regulations and education application and business processes for the Secretary of State and/or familiarity with the Domestic Partner registry or similar functions will be extremely beneficial. Candidates must be detail oriented and possess the ability to problem solve and work within a teamwork environment.
