Face to Face is Must (Must be EAD, GC, Citizen) Position : Sr. Loadrunner Guru Location: Corning, NY Duration: 6 Months Contract - extendable Rate: $38/hr - $40/hr - W2 Job Description: Under limited supervision, design and implement performance test cases as per defined non-functional requirements. Develop and unit test automated test scripts using performance test tools (LoadRunner 9.0 experience is a must) Conduct a wide range of system performance tests and analyze to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and defined nonfunctional requirements. Execute tests according to established plans and scripts. Document problems in tracking tool or similar, and retest software fixes to ensure problems are resolved. Identify, recommend, and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of performance test strategies. Develop/enhance performance workload distribution test models as per production transaction mix. Simulate number of concurrent users for load scenarios to determine response times and bottlenecks. Monitor resources and collect metrics during the tests in order to determine the impact of load/stress testing on the infrastructure. Identify and document bottlenecks or delays. Communicate test results and collaborate with other teams to identify issues needing more analysis and specialized expertise. 1. Requirements Analysis a. Ability to estimate peak load b. Ability to create and present performance test plan c. Different types of tests and determining what is suitable for what situation. 2. Environment a. Ability to adjust targets according test environment 3. Scripting a. Awareness and hands-on experience with most of the Loadrunner supplied functions b. Script customization capability using C or any other programming language 4. Performance Diagnosis a. Ability to support diagnosis through testing b. Ability to interpret most important system counters 5. Reporting a. Ability to link results to business objectives b. Ability to provide go /no-go recommendation Experience : Must have expert knowledge of Loadrunner and working with loadrunner for the past two years. 1. Must have min of 5 years experience with the design and development of LoadRunner scripts. .Net and Content management experience preferred. 2. 2 to 3 years extperience. Must have been a team lead or lead performance tester for a project. 2 to 3 years experience of performance testing with 2+ years testing large distributed web-based applications 3. Must have experience developing performance test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, test cases, defect resolution and performance analysis. 4. Have experience using QC, QTP in conjunction with LoadRunner. 5. Must have worked independently on and been solely responsible for designing, developing, executing and analyzing performance test scripts.
