DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Install, provide configuration support, upgrade, test, and
troubleshoot services for network management applications
*
MUST HAVE
*
* Solid experience with EMC SMARTS MPLS Manager
* Network Management Systems and application experience
* Experience with Command Line automation
* Experience with SNMP, SNMP Traps, syslogs
* Experience with Network Configuration
* UNIX operating systems, especially Solaris & Linux
* Windows & Microsoft Office environments
* Web development (PERL, PHP, Java, Javascript, SQL)
* Strong knowledge of networks, technologies, architecture
* Network management concepts & protocols
* Understanding of Data, Wireless and voice network management concerns
* Understand FCAPS and ITIL processes
*
DESIRABLE CERTS and TRAINING:*
* CCNA certification
* iNet+ certification
* Network+ certifications
* Any Juniper certification or training
* Any Nortel Certification or training.
