Scope/Goals/Description:
This project consists of making the APM 9.0 product
VPAT compliant. The goal of the project is to have the
APM 9.0 product be VPAT compliant. The contractor's
day to day activity will include modifying our
applications to make it VPAT compliant. This includes
changing the graphical user interface to be VPAT
compliant. To prove successful compliancy, all VPAT
bugs stating incompliancy is fixed and the JAWS tool
we use to determine compliancy states successful VPAT
compliancy.
We are looking for candidates that have experience
making Java Swing applications VPAT compliant. We are
also looking for candidates that have extensive
software experience in Java development.
The contractor should have the following skill sets:
- Extensive experience developing Java Swing desktop
applications
- Experience developing GUI Java applications
- Knowledge of VPAT compliancy
- Experience making Java Swing rich client application
VPAT compliant on at least one shipped product
- Knowledge of XML, software design patterns
