Job Opportunity QA Tester Location: Herndon, VA Length: 6mos Description: 6 + years of software testing experience - Experience in GUI based and Web based front end testing. - GUI based testing - Java, Swing Component, RMI and UNIX shell scripts. - Web based testing - Java, JSP and Web Logic. - Experience in working with ASP .NET, C # background. - Ability to function independently and provide status and issue escalation to lead. - Ability to quickly absorb and understand system design, data model, and functional components of large software system - Ability to mentor testers and answer technical questions related to .net, Java and test strategy. - Strong problem solving with ability to analyze complex system requirements and define discreet test scenarios to provide full functional coverage - Automated testing experience (WinRunner/QTP) is a plus. - Experience mocking test data to satisfy test scenarios required (mock data testing) - Familiarity with Quality Center, ClearQuest - Experience with Ab Initio and AutoSys desired. Knowledge of Remedy is a plus. - Knowledge of Oracle/SQL/UNIX preferred.
