Location : Denver,CO Duration: 6 Months Purpose/Objective This position will support the Pro-Build Oracle ERP and Applications Database environments. The Oracle DBA will be responsible and accountable for the maintenance and administration of the Oracle the E-Business Suite as well as other Oracle and SQL-Server based applications Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Install and Configure and administer Oracle products to include, EBS, OTM, OAS, RDBMS, OBIEE as well as other applications as required. · Install and Configure and administer SQL Server Clustered environments to include upgrades and patching · Provide support to ERP and Application development teams as it pertains to ProBuild Systems · Perform clones and refreshes of ERP and Application environments · Design and maintain instance strategy for the for all ERP and Application environments. · Implement performance management metrics and reporting via Oracle Grid for are Oracle Products to include EBS, SOA etc. · Maintenance of the Oracle EBS and Application environments, including testing & installation of application updates, patches and code releases. · Log and Manage Oracle Technical assistance requests (TARs) to resolution. · Application performance troubleshooting and tuning · Monitor and maintain the application file systems. · Implement operate and maintain RMAN jobs and repositories. · Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience · Successful candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience. · 10 Years experience managing the Oracle Applications environment. · 10 years experience in database management, 3+ years recent Oracle RDBMS experience. · 10 Years experience with Oracle Application Server · 5 Years Experience with Oracle RMAN · 5 Years experience with Oracle Grid / OEM · 10 years experience using the UNIX Operation system. AIX and Linux Redhat preferred · Strong understanding of PL*SQL/SQL statements & structures. Skills & Aptitudes · Ability to synthesize information and draw conclusions · Strong analytical skills · Ability to work collaboratively with business users and team members · Understanding of related business areas (upstream / downstream) · Flexible and open to change and ambiguity Working Environment · Fast-paced environment, with high demand on time and response time. · This position will require night and weekend work. · This position requires working nights as required to support Migrations and refresh requests.
