Location: NYC Duration: 1+ Months Job Description We need to hire a consultant with very strong knowledge of object oriented programming in C++ and good working knowledge of .NET programming in C#. Between the two sets of skills, the C++ knowledge is paramount. Financial expertise is a major plus. The primary responsibility will be to work on the implementation of analytical models in the technology group supporting the Standard and Poor's analysts. Experience: 7+ years Keywords to be used for searching: C++ .NET C# - WinForms Requirements (in the order of importance): • Very strong and in depth knowledge of the C/ C++ language under Windows, MS Visual C++ preferred; STL (Standard Template Library) a major plus; any C++ certifications a major plus; Exposure to UNIX environments a major plus. • Strong development skills on the .NET platform; in depths knowledge of the C# language; good design skills and efficient programming style especially with WinForms; any .NET / C# certifications a major plus. • Very strong technical background; proficient in object-oriented design, data analysis and system architecture; efficient programming style.
