Skills/Experience: Application Analyst - Teradata / UNIX / SQL / Oracle Glimpse of Responsibilities and Abilities . Responsible for executing and monitoring jobs according to established 24/7 schedule. . Handle job failures, apply work-a-round and suggest plans for permanent fixes. . Perform root cause analysis for job failures and for long running production jobs. . Monitor all job schedules and the SLAs to ensure jobs are completed per schedules. . Provide client and IT internal communication for problem resolution for job failures 24 x 7. . Planning and documenting progress of work on various projects. Preferences - make these a MUST have and you will have hires. *Telecom exp a plus! (ie Verizon, T-mobile, Sprint, AT&T, etc) . Experience using Amdocs or customer application knowledge highly desired (ie Ensemble, etc) . Experience with Golden Gate replication a plus. . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. . Proven ability to work effectively in high pressure situations. . Ability to work independently. Requirements . 3-5 yrs extensive experience in Unix Shell Scripting. . 3-5 yrs experience with SQL, or PL/SQL. . 3-5 yrs job scheduling software TWS and Control M experience. . 3-5 yrs solid experience in the use of Oracle. . 2-4 yrs Informatica and Teradata knowledge. . 2-4 yrs knowledge of C, C++ Programming Languages. . 2-4 yrs Main Frame working knowledge highly desired.
