Position: WebLogic Administrator Location: Scottsdale, AZ Duration: 6 Months Submit only GC's, Citizens or EAD's ONLY! Position Description: a.. Acts in a high-level technical role by consulting with client and IT management in the resolution of highly complex, technical problems involving creation of Web sites and e-commerce applications and their integration into the bank's existing computer systems. b.. Upgrades and maintains the systems that employ scalable, advanced technologies and methods to integrate Web systems with existing systems, enabling the creation of new Web enterprises or expanding existing business onto the Web. Tracks the development and implementation of the Web application systems support infrastructure for e-commerce, Web-based customer support and Web interfaces to databases. c.. Directs gathering statistics to assist in determining hardware requirements and communication bandwidth to support projected transaction volumes and response time and system availability targets. d.. Typically acts as a project/team lead Minimum Qualifications: a.. 7-10 years technical background and 5-6 years directly related web engineering experience. a.. 5-7 years technical background. 3-5 years directly related to BEA WebLogic b.. 3 + years experience in with the following applications J2EE Applications and middleware on primarily the Unix/Linux platform. c.. Weblogic 8.x/9.x/10.x. SunOne Web Servers. Wily Intrascope d.. Siteminder Netegrity. Production support experience in a critical environment. e.. Ability to coordinate with multiple groups to resolve complex issues. Understanding of multi tier environments. f.. Strong WebLogic Administration with expertise in Installation, Configuration, Tuning, and Deploying applications. g.. Experience with WebLogic Versions 8.x 9.x & 10.x. h.. Experience in configuring WebLogic Servers in a Cluster solution for High Availability, Load balancing and fail over support. i.. Knowledge of Web Security tools- LDAP Server, SSL Certificates. . j.. Experience in profiling Java applications using tools such as; JProbe, Optimize IT, etc. k.. Troubleshooting experience of a WebLogic Server application in a J2EE context. . l.. Expert knowledge on distributed systems and the support of highly distributed deployment J2EE servers. m.. Expert experience in WLST, Jython and ANT scripting to automate and monitor the WebLogic routine tasks. n.. Linux (Red Hat) and Solaris experience. o.. Good working knowledge of Monitoring Tools such as Introscope, HP OPENVIEW, BMC Patrol. p.. Experience in networking, TCP/IP, Ethernet, DNS, DHCP. q.. Excellent communication, relationship building and client partnering skills required (must be able to be understood by others). r.. Experience working in high-pressure, enterprise-class environment preferred. s.. Experience with https servers such as IPlanet, SunOne, Apache.
