Web Development Manager San Jose, CA 6+ Months $55/Hr AI Job Description: We are currently looking for Web development Manager responsible with front-end (XML/XSL) application templates and moving to new jsp based architecture for an international, high availability, high volume web application. This position requires leading, mentoring, and growing a geographically dispersed team of managers and web developers, managing their performance and growth, and ensuring that the team's work is of top quality. Job Requirements: * 10+ years of experience in software development implementating advanced web user interfaces. * 2+ years experience managing a web development or software engineering team. * 8+ years experience with the software development cycle: product specification, design, implementation, qa, release * Experience in web development, including Web Standards, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS is a big plus* * Experience building advanced and easy to use interfaces for web applications. * Experience with managing development team, directly manage a team Leads, Developers etc * Extensive experience with PDLC (SDLC) processes to ensure that products are delivered with high quality and with a shorter overall time to market. * Managed the strategic planning and scheduling for the team etc.Additional requirements * 2+ years experience of managing an offshore development team. * Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people * Ability to thrive under pressure and deliver in a fast paced multi-project environment. * Proven record of recruiting and develop high performing technical teams. Optional Skills * Experience with Financial Systems such as billing, payment and internationalization experience is a plus. * Experience in leading web development teams in a high volume web-based application.
