Duration: 6 + Months Best Rate: 30-35/hr Max on W2 This position at Target has reopened. Does anyone have a BA with network background or network candidate with some BA skills? The Network Segmentation projects center around creating separate firewall zones for various applications. In addition, the projects include setting up a network and access chokepoint to limit, monitor, and log user access to these zones. There are several components to these projects that involve firewall and network analysis as well as understanding and following set processes to update and deploy code. This role will aid the Senior Technical Architect and the Project Leads as they implement firewall and application changes. Specific functions include: Working with an offsite vendor on code and application enhancements, coordinating and completing functional and non-functional testing, documentation of issues, and working with vendor or Target teams to troubleshoot issues, assist with network analysis, database inputs and reporting, opening change tickets in the HP Service Desk tool, following processes to update and deploy code, testing logging requirements, issue documentation and follow up, and updating configuration and executable files. The skills needed for the role include: Strong understanding of firewalls and networking are key. Experience with application testing and ability to communicate technical requirements and issues to offsite vendor and Target team. Strong verbal communication skills, good written documentation skills, ability to multitask, work well on a team.
